Nitrogen Generators

If your company operates in sectors such as food processing and packaging, electronics or laser cutting, pharmaceuticals or construction, a reliable supply of nitrogen is vital.

Nitrogen is used for removing unwanted elements from liquids or propelling them through a pipeline, as well as creating a modified atmosphere to preserve packaged food. It’s also used in the pharmaceutical industry, as an anaesthetic, as an ingredient in fertilisers, and in the steel and construction industries, among others.

A colourless, odourless gas, nitrogen can be produced onsite by a generator using a supply of compressed air. If you are currently using storage bottles and require a regular or continuous supply of nitrogen, you may find it more convenient and cost effective to invest in a nitrogen generator or system, which produces the gas as and when you need it.

We can offer a cost-effective solution for onsite nitrogen generation, using Atlas Copco’s range of nitrogen generators. These include:

NGP and NGP+ series

NGP and NGP+ series – which use Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology for an adjustable, high-purity continuous flow of nitrogen. These are energy-efficient, plug-and-play machines with a short payback period and low maintenance costs.
