Dancing the night away for Heath Stroke Club

Posted on

Always looking for ways to get involved in our community we recently sponsored a fantastic dance night for Heath Stroke Club. This is now the third year we have supported this local charity with event sponsorship.

The event took place on 24th September at Old Rishworthians in Copley with music from local band In Echoes. Our Service Team Manager, Paul Thomas, was there on the night as he is also a trustee for Heath Stroke Club. Joining him from the PPS team was Yvonne Gianoncelli (Senior Office Administrator), who had been roped in to help serve the pie and pea supper! Both reported that it had been a great night with good music, good food and the chance to win a raffle prize (the hamper donated by us).

Who are Heath Stroke Club?

Happiness, confidence, security. These are the three words on the Heath Stroke Club logo and it is what they aim to give all stroke survivors and adults with physical disabilities. Their service enhances the quality of life for those who need it. They offer a day care service, one to one sessions and run a luncheon club. The support can be tailored for individual needs to help people lead an active and fulfilled life.
