A host of businesses from Calderdale and the local area were out in force for the annual Halifax Courier Business Awards, held this year on Friday, 1st December.
The black tie event took place at The Venue in Barkisland, which has recently been refurbished to offer a better layout and even plusher environment.
In attendance from Pennine Pneumatic Services Ltd were Managing Director Gary Whitaker and Director Ian Harrison, along with Sales Director Matt O’Connor, Area Manager for Pneumatics Glenn Stephenson and Brighouse Project Manager Dave Berry.
PPS was proud to be nominated for Employer of the Year (won by PL Projects) and once again sponsored the Manufacturer of the Year award. Several of our customers were shortlisted for this award, including the winner: safety barrier specialists, A-Safe.
Ian Harrison, Director at PPS said, “We are always pleased to sponsor the Manufacturer of the Year award and there was strong competition in this category. Elland-based A-Safe were worthy winners – the company has been growing quickly and we have a good partnership with them as suppliers.”
He continued: “There was a strong turn out on the night and it was good to see local companies progressing and doing well, which is very positive for Calderdale and the wider region. We’d like to congratulate all the winners and those nominated this year.”
