As well as staff from PPS and its sister company, Sheffield-based Simm Engineering, attendees included representatives of Calderdale Council, Camozzi, CMS Construction, Handelsbanken, Legris, Made in Yorkshire, Parker, Ryans and Walker Singleton, plus several members of staff from key supplier of air compressors, vacuum pumps and associated equipment, Atlas Copco.

Two charitable organisations supported by PPS, Overgate Hospice and Tempus Novo, also had a presence.

e would be back 25 years later to make it a home for the successful company he founded. He described his vision for the new premises to look “like a BMW showroom” and paid tribute to the staff members and contractors involved in the build and refurbishment, as well as all those who have helped the company grow and thrive over the years.

He handed over to Director Ian Harrison, who also gave a speech of thanks, including expressing gratitude to Gary for giving him and other
staff members the opportunity to be part of the thriving company.

A plaque commemorating the occasion was unveiled by Alexander Pavlov, General Manager for Atlas Copco Compresso Technique business in the UK and Ireland, who applauded the strong relationship between the two companies and praised the new premises as being on a level far
above the usual distributors’ sites.

The site has its own dedicated Trade Counter and smart new staff offices and open-plan areas, as well as a better layout for the stores and service department. Anyone wishing to visit the new premises is welcome to drop by during working hours, and there will be an Open Day in the new year for customers new and old, to showcase the facilities and services.
