It was cheers all round as PPS picked up the Employer of the Year Award for the second year running at the 2016 Halifax Courier Business Awards.
The awards, which took place on Friday 21 October at The Venue in Barkisland, were once again attended by the great and good of the area, representing a wide range of businesses and organisations.
Taking to the stage to collect the award were Managing Director Gary Whitaker, Director Ian Harrison, Sales Manager Pete Odell, Area Manager for Pneumatics Glenn Stephenson and Sales Representative Richard McClurg.
There was a moment of humour when the evening’s host, broadcaster Jon Hammond, joked that the PPS team looked like: “the most unusual boy band you’ve ever seen”.
The award is the only one where staff nominate their employers, with a view to recognising companies that show a strong commitment to staff development and training, as well as creating a good working environment for employees.
PPS also sponsored the Manufacturing Award for the third year in a row.
